A Dandelion family is donating a week’s stay in their vacation home in Taos, New Mexico during February break week (Monday February 20th – Monday February 27th). Other weeks may be arranged based on availability.
Located at 47 Ovejeros Road, Taos New Mexico, this is a great house for families! This 3 bedroom/3 bath house can sleep 6-8 comfortably and more if you’re determined.
It has a spacious and functional kitchen with oven, stove, dishwasher, and all kinds of pots, pans, tortilla makers, waffle makers, etc. Large dining room table with beautiful view. Back fenced yard area that puts you right into the scenery of scenic conservation land owned and preserved by the Taos Pueblo. Linens are provided.
The living room is equipped with satellite television. No Internet/wifi but it is available at the library, cafes in town and the ski valley (I’ve never had a problem hanging out in the lodge using their wifi if I needed to work all day or if I didn’t feel like skiing). We have had good luck with Verizon hotspots for wifi coverage at the house.
The house is a short drive to downtown Taos shops and restaurants and 25 minutes up the mountain to Taos Ski Valley. Taos Ski Valley has been recently renovated but is still a fantastic place for both advanced skiers and beginners. Drop the kids off at ski school or take lessons yourself. All the instructors are great and the ski school packages are affordable and flexible.
Tres Hermanos is a great house that is kept in great working order (though hasn’t been refurnished in a while…) as its often used only by family. We also only have random pictures of it for this reason…We usually fly into Albuquerque or Santa Fe. Denver is a four-hour drive.
We are asking $1000 for the 2/20 – 2/27 rental that will be a donation to the Dandelion Montessori Co-op Scholarship Fund and $100 for cleaning fee paid to the groundskeeper.
